COMMISSIONING MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Security systems
In building design and construction, security systems ensure the safety of occupants, protect assets, and maintain regulatory compliance.
They are integrated into the building’s infrastructure to provide layered defences against unauthorised access, intrusions, hazardous situations, and other security threats.
Various types of security systems provide different types of protection: access control systems restrict who enters the building or sensitive areas by managing entry to specified areas; CCTV provides visual monitoring; intruder detection systems use sensors to detect unauthorised entry and trigger alerts or alarms; and intercom systems facilitate two-way communication between security personnel and occupants or visitors before granting access.
Commissioning management is employed throughout the construction process to oversee the installation, testing, and validation of all security systems. Core group’s commissioning managers ensure that all security components are properly integrated, fully functional, and meet security and regulatory requirements before the facility is handed over to operational teams.
